Cladding, as surface protection for components, installed in waste incineration-, biomass- , fluidized bed or chemical plants, is part of our core business; also in coal- and gas fired boilers. We process high-alloyed cladding materials like Alloy 622, 625, 59, 686 on Ni-basis against corrosion. To minimize abrasion, welding material with high Cr-contents and similar-to-base-material come into use.

Single tube cladding


Single tubes and headers are coated by 3 circumferential-welding machines in our workshop. Possible coating length in one pass is 14 m, maximum. We can operate a layer thickness of 1 mm - ≥2 mm acc. to clients`requirements. We use the following welding procedures: GMAW or CMT (cold metal transfer) Preferably we deliver complete superheater components, ready for assembly.

Tube wall cladding


One of our particular products is the tube-fin-tube wall, pre-finished with cladding. The walls are either fabricated in our workshop or provided by the customer. Cladding can be executed on one or on both wall sides with a layer thickness from 1 mm - ≥2 mm on a maximum length of 11 m. We operate MAG welding procedures like single-layer e-pulse technique with 50 % overlapping or CMT technique.

On-site cladding

On-site Cladding at existing power plants, executed manually or by automatic welding machines is one of the most frequent requirements of our customers. As initial cladding, particularly suitable as a preventive measure against corrosion and abrasion for wall areas with refractory in extremely endangered areas, as repair-cladding in areas with excessive erosion and as re-cladding = repair of existing cladding areas, in order to keep or increase the availability and economic efficiency of the plants. Cladding on-site can be executed in all welding positions. We work in a multi-shift system, inclusive weekend work, if necessary, in order to optimize down-times accordingly.
